About the role

The job of Associate at Briarwood is challenging but not exhausting. We are a general practice with a great, loyal and compliant clientele.

Responsibilities

• Work with a licensed technician and a fully trained technician assistant assigned to them at each shift, be it outpatient or surgery.
• Our usual schedule involves a rotation of 3.5 days one week, and then 4.5 days the next week.
• Our days are 9.5-10 hours per day, with a 1.5 hour lunch, and a 4 hour shift on Saturday.
• No emergency work is required.
• Doctors have a 5:2 vet to staff ratio and there is an amazing synergy and low turnover which leads to a winning work environment.

Requirements

• Must be licensed to practice veterinary medicine in the state of Michigan.
• Experience preferred but not required.
