HC Life Enrichment Leader

About the role

Part-Time Life Enrichment Leader, 28 hours per week. Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and daily implementation of a well-rounded activity program that supports residents’ intellectual, social, spiritual, creative, and physical well-being through both group and individual engagement.
• Collaborate with residents, families, volunteers, and team members across departments to create meaningful experiences.
• Maintain activity calendars and displays.
• Foster a warm, engaging environment throughout the community.
• Support program quality and compliance by assisting with documentation, budgeting, regulatory standards, and communication with leadership regarding resident needs, program updates, and opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience in activities, recreation, or working with seniors preferred
• Strong leadership qualities including organization, initiative, and follow-through
• Creativity and ability to design engaging, inclusive programming
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to respond with professionalism and empathy in dynamic situations
• Understanding of or willingness to learn regulatory requirements related to activity programming
• Commitment to teamwork and collaboration
