Transport various waste streams to designated generator sites safely while driving Class B trucks. Operate a tractor trailer pulling roll-offs, tankers, van trailers, and other trailer types to perform pickups of bulk and containerized hazardous and non-hazardous waste. May also drive a straight truck periodically.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate trucks including roll-offs, tankers, gravel trains, tractor-trailers, and box trucks.
- Perform LTL (less than load) pickups.
- Maintain driver documents such as logbook, quarterly permit book, trip reports, and waste manifests.
- Understand and comply with DOT regulations for hazardous waste collection, packaging, and transportation, including placarding, load securement, HAZMAT load segregation, and labeling.
- Adhere to state weight limit laws.
- Operate vehicles safely in accordance with laws and regulations.
- Utilize company technology, such as mobile applications and software maintenance.
- Perform DOT/MOT pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Interact and communicate effectively with customers to ensure satisfaction.
- Maintain good housekeeping at facility and on the grounds.
- Function as a technician on lab pack and field service projects as needed.
- Participate in the Site Safety program and required training.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s license with hazardous material and tanker endorsements (or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire).
- MVR that meets Company policy standards.
- Ability to pass 40-hour HAZWOPER training upon hire.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading materials.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Ability to prioritize, stay focused, and handle multiple responsibilities.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $24.10 to $33.10 per hour, depending on the locality of hire.
Schedule
Operates Monday through Friday with variable scheduling that may include 3-4 overnight shifts per week. Most weekends and holidays off, with occasional exceptions for critical business needs.
