UIC Arctic Operations & Development is currently seeking a Project Manager.

About the role

As a Project Manager at UIC Arctic Operations & Development, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and control of projects to meet project requirements within scope, time, cost, and quality objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop project plans and manage project timelines
  • Manage project budgets and ensure cost efficiency
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements
  • Ensure compliance with project milestones and deliverables
  • Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary
  • Communicate project status to stakeholders

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant project management experience
  • Experience in Arctic operations and development projects preferred
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Qualifications

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)

Skills

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
  • Experience with project management software (e.g., Primavera, Microsoft Project)
  • Understanding of Arctic environmental regulations and best practices

Pay

Salary range: $80,000 - $120,000 annually
