PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive passenger vehicles transporting JTB Hawaii customers around the Waikiki and Ala Moana area.
- Provide good customer service in a positive and friendly manner.
- Conduct Pre/Post-Trip Inspections in accordance with the Department of Transportation (DOT) and Travel Plaza Transportation regulations.
- Daily washing and cleaning inside of vehicle.
- Confirm daily job description in the T-Bus system.
- Provide safe transportation for JTB passengers around Waikiki and Ala Moana areas.
- Provide customer service, assist with loading and unloading passengers and customers baggage, and personal items.
- Confirm Mobi tablet operation.
- Drive vehicle in accordance with Federal, State and vehicle regulations.
- Observe all traffic signals, signs, other vehicles, and pedestrians on streets, freeways, highways, avoiding vehicle collisions.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma.
- Possess active Hawaii driver’s license and clear driving abstract.
- Possess a DOT Physical Medical Certificate of Physical Qualification.
- Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills with internal/external customers and able to speak/read/write in English.
- Able to read, analyze, and interpret dispatch documents, safety procedures, and governmental regulations, and write required operational and safety reports.
- Possess working knowledge of the Hawaiian Islands, including but not limited to, geography, culture, and history.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Knowledgeable with the Waikiki area.
- Skills capable of driving vans and utilizing Mobi tablet.
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Subject to vehicle air-condition, exhaust fumes, dust, noise, and adverse weather conditions.
- Working Hours: Shift work variable between 5:00 am and 12:00 an. 7-days a week, weekends, holidays, and overtime may be required, with prior management approval.

- Not applicable – running, crawling.
COMMUNICATION DEMANDS
- Constant – requires talking to co-workers, receiving verbal and written instructions, reading;

- Occasional – requires written communication to co-workers, responding to verbal or written requests of co-workers;
