Responsibilities
- Scare guests of all ages without touching by using the element of surprise
- Entertain guests as a costumed character by bringing to life the personality of the specific character through hand/body movements and strong vocalization where applicable
- Develop gestures and movements unique to the character to make our guests scream in terror
- Wear complete costume, makeup, and/or mask provided as assigned
- Maintain a healthy and FUN scare experience for guests and fellow monsters
Qualifications

- Good judgement and a commitment to safety.
- Able to work and interact with people from diverse backgrounds.
- Individuals with a passion and excitement about Carowinds.
- Able to demonstrate strong vocal tones & basic acting ability.
- Able to scream and speak before large groups of people.
- Able to maintain a calm demeanor during emotionally charged situations.
- Able to wear costumes with masks, and/or heavy make-up.
- Able to work in a dark or poorly lit area with special effects and atmospheric fog.
- Availability to include some weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays.
