Haunt Talent

Responsibilities

• Scare guests of all ages without touching by using the element of surprise
• Entertain guests as a costumed character by bringing to life the personality of the specific character through hand/body movements and strong vocalization where applicable
• Develop gestures and movements unique to the character to make our guests scream in terror
• Wear complete costume, makeup, and/or mask provided as assigned
• Maintain a healthy and FUN scare experience for guests and fellow monsters

• Able to work and interact with people from diverse backgrounds.
• Individuals with a passion and excitement about Carowinds.
• Able to demonstrate strong vocal tones & basic acting ability.
• Able to scream and speak before large groups of people.
• Able to maintain a calm demeanor during emotionally charged situations.
• Able to wear costumes with masks, and/or heavy make-up.
• Able to work in a dark or poorly lit area with special effects and atmospheric fog.
• Availability to include some weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays.
