Haul Truck Driver

About the role

Arcosa Aggregates is seeking a Haul Truck Driver based out of Ennis, TX. You will operate heavy equipment and work with a team to produce natural aggregates in a mining environment.

Responsibilities

• Actively promote safety awareness and continuous improvement through positive recognition.
• Safely operate a haul truck, farm tractor, water truck, or rubber tire backhoe.
• Operate equipment in quarry or production.
• Comply with all industry safety rules, procedures, and applicable government regulations.
• Perform daily pre-shift equipment and workplace inspections to maintain equipment performance.
• Maintain strong communications with other plant employees and operators.
• Perform other duties or responsibilities as assigned, including cleaning equipment and clearing obstacles in the work environment.

Requirements

• Positive, team-based attitude.
• Ability to stand, stoop, bend, lift, walk, climb stairs, ladders, and catwalks up to 60 feet as required.
• Ability to work in varied outdoor environments (cold, hot, dry, dusty, rainy).
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Prompt, regular, and predictable attendance.
• No prior experience required; training provided.

Working Conditions

While most equipment has air conditioning, there will be times when responsibilities may require periods of work in all weather conditions including heat, cold, wet, dry, and dusty.
