Responsibilities
- General overall maintenance of facilities and automation equipment in the poult hatching process.
- Diagnose and repair broken machinery using general knowledge of machinery.
- Work with various tools and equipment such as fork lift, welding equipment, electric drill, electric meter, wrenches, and screwdrivers.
- Show problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Adhere to company policies and regulations regarding bio security, animal welfare, and safety.
- Use safety equipment and PPE when necessary.
Qualifications
- Previous commercial maintenance experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong attendance record and punctuality.
- Commitment to teamwork and consistent performance.
- Good hand-eye coordination.
- Physical condition to move constantly, lift up to 60 lbs, and maneuver heavy machinery.
Requirements
- Authorized to work in the U.S. (Participates with E-verify).
- Valid Drivers License.
- Passes pre-employment drug screening.
- Passes background check.
Pay
$18.58 - $20.42 per hour depending on experience.
Schedule
This position is 4 days on and 4 days off. Shifts are from 6pm to 6am. Training hours are from 7am to 5pm Monday through Friday. Holidays must be worked if your schedule lands on one.
