Harvesting Operator (Overnight)

About the role

As part of our Production Team, a Harvesting Operator is responsible for executing harvesting-related tasks on a production farm, contributing to our exceptional product and plant health.

Responsibilities

• Manage stages of the strawberry plant life cycle.
• Ensure tasks such as harvesting, cleaning, and sanitizing are completed in a timely manner.
• Operate and troubleshoot new farming technologies.
• Communicate and work cross-functionally with packaging and distribution teams; support packaging with sorting, cleaning, weighing, packaging, and labeling strawberries into the appropriate containers.
• Engage in information and data collection to continually improve our strawberries.
• Escalate concerns to leadership to ensure the health and safety of our plants and people.

The role is hands-on, with about 90% of time spent in the farm tending to our plants.
