Harvest General Foreperson (LPP)
About the Role
Oversee production operations (supervisors, leads, and hourly production employees) to provide day-to-day control of assigned department activities according to prescribed schedules, priorities, operation sequence, and processing specifications. Optimize key performance indicators in harvest and drive results.
Responsible for crewing, scheduling, work quality, productivity, and employee training in assigned areas. Conduct line meetings. Ensure safety, housekeeping, and proper operation of equipment. Participate in plant management, operational, and company retention team meetings to reduce turnover on the harvest floor. Update, maintain, and implement documents, records, or product specifications.
Conduct employment actions in accordance with EEO/AA guidelines (hire, selection, promotion, demotion, transfer, termination, etc.). Evaluate department work performance and take corrective action, including disciplinary or termination actions in coordination with Human Resources. Coordinate material flow through various stages of assigned departments.

Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 3-5 years of experience in Harvest
- Ability to work in varied temperatures (warm, hot, humid, cold, wet) and slippery surfaces at varied heights around moving equipment with personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Must be able to perform job duties with or without reasonable accommodations
- Assertive with strong multi-tasking abilities in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to train supervisors and hourly employees, creating training and succession plans
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate in Arts/Associate in Science or Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science degree
- Prior lead/foreperson experience in Harvest
Skills
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to perform consistent, accurate work with minimal direction
- Ability to work successfully as part of a team
- Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with employees
- Consistent attendance
Pay
The expected base salary range for this position is between $89,000 to $115,000. Actual base pay may vary based on job-related experience, qualifications, skills, expertise, and geographic location.
