About the role

A.B.I. Resources Connecticut provides community care and home-based supported living services. We seek individuals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of those with disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Support clients with all aspects of home and community life.
• Ensure consistent safety for clients.
• Provide a healthy and professional friendship environment.
• Manage personal hygiene and dressing routines.
• Schedule, attend, and report on medical and therapeutic appointments.
• Engage in shopping, cooking, and cleaning activities with clients.
• Incorporate regular exercise, socialization, and entertainment into daily routines.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Two years of experience preferred, but not required.
• Driver’s license required and reliable transportation.
• Proof of insurance.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Submit a letter from a person or employer verifying field experience.

• Proactive and organized with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to complete tasks and produce results.

Skills

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect privacy.
• Knowledge of community resources and services.

Pay

Compensation details are provided upon hire and may vary based on experience and qualifications.

Schedule
