About the role
A.B.I. Resources Connecticut provides community care and home-based supported living services. We seek individuals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of those with disabilities.
Responsibilities
- Support clients with all aspects of home and community life.
- Ensure consistent safety for clients.
- Provide a healthy and professional friendship environment.
- Manage personal hygiene and dressing routines.
- Schedule, attend, and report on medical and therapeutic appointments.
- Engage in shopping, cooking, and cleaning activities with clients.
- Incorporate regular exercise, socialization, and entertainment into daily routines.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Two years of experience preferred, but not required.
- Driver’s license required and reliable transportation.
- Proof of insurance.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Submit a letter from a person or employer verifying field experience.

- Proactive and organized with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to complete tasks and produce results.
Skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect privacy.
- Knowledge of community resources and services.

Pay
