HART CDL TRUCK DRIVER

Key Responsibilities

• Ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following PROS – Pause, Review, Observe, Start
• Performs non-emergency and emergency response activities that deal with biological and chemical materials
• Performs labor intensive activities in all weather conditions throughout the shift
• Works in atmospheres with low clearances, confined spaces and at heights
• Operates light and heavy equipment including skid steers, forklifts, pressure washer
• Performs routine inspection and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment

Requirements

• Valid driver's license

Qualifications

• A minimum of 3 years of verifiable experience safely operating a vehicle requiring a CDL
• Minimum of a Class B CDL, it is preferable to have a Class A CDL with a HazMat and Tanker endorsement
• Passes a pre-employment drug screening, criminal background check, and physical exam
• Likely to work in a physically intensive role
• Willingness to obtain OSHA (40 hour) Certification
• Ability to work on an on-call basis as business needs require
• Ability and willingness to work in a physically intensive role
• Ability to work in confined spaces
• Ability to wear a respirator
• Must be able to interpret and follow written and oral instructions and assignments

Skills

• Hazardous waste experience
• Certification (i.e. OSHA 40hr HAZWOPER)
• Heavy equipment operation and maintenance experience
