Harold Washington College Federal Work Study Student- Music Room Monitor

Essential Duties

• Monitor music room collecting ID from students.
• Aid students with equipment, rooms, and spaces to rehearse and perform.
• Keep accurate account of activities and scheduled times.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years or older, have work permit consent, and eligible to work in the United States.
• Must be actively attending one of the City Colleges of Chicago.
• Must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 semester hours pre-credit or credit classes.
• Must be pursuing an approved educational credential, degree, or certificate.
• Must have and maintain a minimum cumulative 2.0 GPA (waived for first semester new students).
• Must be in “good standing” – no City Colleges of Chicago academic restrictions.
• Must not be current Full or Part-time employees of the City Colleges of Chicago.
• All positions are “employment at-will”.
• High School Diploma required or actively pursuing a GED at the City Colleges of Chicago.
• Must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 semester hour pre-credit or credit classes.
• Must be a part of the Students Financial Aid Program and approved for Federal Work Study.
• Successfully pass CCC hiring process (including criminal background check & drug screening if “sensitive” responsibilities are in the job description).
• Promotes a positive role model and favorable public image as City Colleges of Chicago representative.
• Adheres to the City Colleges of Chicago Customer Services Excellence Standards.
