About the role

Responsibilities

  • Work cross-functionally with vehicle engineering, suppliers, and the project management team to drive test planning into tactical and detailed road maps.
  • Manage burndown of risks on a timely basis.
  • Create detailed summaries of testing timelines, issues/risks, progress, and accomplishments to be shared with key stakeholders.
  • Leverage department leaders to translate corporate strategy and milestones into detailed product roadmaps, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Deliver technical presentations explaining validation initiatives to consumer teams.
  • Ensure the validation team understands their deliverables at all times.
  • Proactively remove obstacles to drive momentum and progress, identify gaps in communication or schedule, provide support to teams balancing competing priorities, and drive results.
  • Define and manage process and regular meetings.

Requirements

  • BS or MS degree in engineering or equivalent job experience
  • 2+ years of experience in engineering, program management, or management consulting
  • Strong track record of managing complex cross-functional projects
  • An ability to keep the big picture in focus and provide clear, well-structured, and concise communications tailored to each appropriate audience

Qualifications

  • Nice to have: Previous experience with requirements management tools such as Polarion and issue management tools such as JIRA and Confluence
  • Previous experience with Change management
  • Deep familiarity with automotive development processes
  • An ability to keep the big picture in focus and provide clear, well-structured, and concise communications tailored to each appropriate audience
