Responsibilities
- Lead Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) efforts for large-scale, multidisciplinary hardware-centric systems
- Drive requirements using the RFLoP framework (Requirements → Functional → Logical → Physical) to ensure traceability and scalability
- Develop and maintain SysML models and artifacts, including hierarchies, state machines, activity diagrams, and allocations
- Translate system-level architectures into clear, executable subsystem specifications
- Support the full systems engineering V-model, from requirements decomposition through verification and validation
- Perform system-level modeling, simulation, and develop trade studies to guide technical decisions
- Lead and contribute to design reviews, DFx coordination, and certification activities, partnering closely with hardware, software, and manufacturing teams
Requirements
- Experience with MBSE and Model-Based Design (MBD) in sophisticated product environments
- Solid understanding of PLM / PLC tools and processes
- Practical experience using AI-enabled tools to accelerate systems engineering, modeling, or analysis workflows
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelors degree; or 3 years and a Masters degree; or equivalent work experience
Skills
- Strong command of SysML and tools such as Cameo or MATLAB System Composer
- Experience with modeling, simulation, and analysis tools including MATLAB, Python, R, JMP, Arena, or similar
- Proven track record to collaborate effectively across hardware, software, and manufacturing organizations

- Base Pay Range: $105,900.00 - $180,000.00 Annually
