About the role
IERUS is seeking a Hardware Program Manager to lead projects addressing weapon systems engineering and the application of advanced machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) techniques, as well as RF/Optical hardware prototyping and low rate production. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of a BS degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or related field, plus 5+ years of experience in program management, or a Degree in Management, plus 10+ years of experience in technical program management of Department of Defense programs.
Responsibilities
- Oversee hardware and/or operational military projects
- Build consensus among peers and develop effective relationships with team members
- Apply agile development fundamentals to accelerate technology development timelines
- Ensure compliance with DoD security clearances and regulations
Requirements
- U.S. Citizen with an active DoD Secret clearance
- Secret security clearance
- Experience in overseeing hardware and/or operational military projects
- Demonstrated ability as a team player
- Experience in at least two of the following: Operations Agile Development, Integrated Air and Missile Defense, RF Hardware, Optical Hardware and Phenomenology, and Data Analytics
Qualifications
- Master's in Engineering or Engineering Management preferred
- Active DoD TS/SCI clearance preferred
- Experience in the defense industry
- Proven capabilities in team facilitation and development
