Responsibilities

• Provide highly visible customer support through on-site installation of linear accelerators and imaging systems.
• Oversee diagnoses, troubleshooting, service, and repair of complex equipment and systems.
• Check out and approve operational quality of system equipment.
• Instruct customers in the operation and maintenance of the system.
• Act as company liaison with customers on administrative and technical matters for assigned projects.
• Interpret customer needs and facilitate resolution across various departments.
• Install and upgrade equipment according to technical documentation and company guidelines.
• Demonstrate equipment operation and specifications according to Customer Acceptance Procedure (CAP).
• Advise customers on ordering spare parts and service requests.
• Inform customers about Customer Technical Bulletins and their importance.
• Input detailed records of installation and upgrade work into company information systems.
• Maintain a high standard of professionalism and safety.
• Manage parts inventory and ordering, including replenishing kits and handling returns.
• Document technical documentation and maintain product development records.
• Report activities using FSR’s, time sheets, and expense reports.
• Complete required installation documentation and update data for tracking.
• Use prescribed problem-resolution procedures and seek technical assistance when needed.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 2-4 years of related experience, or an Associates or Bachelor’s degree in related fields preferred.
• Professional experience with electronic and electro-mechanical engineering, RF energy producing devices, and electronic cooling systems.
• Proficiency in using test equipment for electronic equipment verification and calibration.
• Basic networking skills for integrating machines into customer servers.
• Knowledge of PC-based systems and strong customer focus.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
