About the role
Join our team to contribute to the development of innovative hardware solutions for Cisco products and services. You will work collaboratively with multi-functional teams to ensure high-quality designs and efficient manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities
- Design and verify ASIC circuits and boards using hardware description languages and PCB design tools.
- Collaborate with software, manufacturing, and mechanical engineering teams to define infrastructural needs and product specifications.
- Develop circuit layouts and perform automated tests to ensure signal integrity and power efficiency.
- Use simulation tools for circuit analysis and electromagnetic modeling to validate and debug designs.
- Automate test and data analysis tasks using scripting or programming languages to enhance productivity.
Requirements
- Completion of a Bachelor’s degree program in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field within the past 3 years, or current enrollment with expected completion within 12 months.
- Familiarity with hardware description languages and PCB design tools.
- Foundational knowledge of embedded systems and microcontrollers.
- Familiarity with scripting or programming languages for automation tasks.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with hardware prototyping platforms like breadboards, FPGAs, Arduino, Raspberry Pi, etc.
- Understanding of signal and power integrity concepts and tools.
- Experience with hardware validation and debugging in a team or project setting.
- Experience with simulation tools for circuit analysis or electromagnetic modeling.
- Experience working in multi-functional teams.

Pay
The starting salary range for this position is $94,200.00 to $119,600.00, subject to location and individual performance.
