Hard Lines Merchandising Specialist

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Sort and grade hard goods donations according to GWH quality guidelines.
• Research merchandise value using current GWH baseline pricing guides or utilize Google Lens, eBay, and/or other resell platforms.
• Ensure designated PPE is being utilized while on duty.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
• Routine monitoring of merchandise levels and notifying management when running low.
• Aid in product rotation and sales floor recovery.
• Greet customers and assist with basic questions.
• Unload donations from donor vehicles, use donation tablet, and assist donors.
• Assist with loading and unloading equipment.
• Perform housekeeping duties.
• Assist in maintaining safety and security.
• Report all work incidents and injuries immediately.

• Must be punctual, dependable, and maintain a professional appearance.
• Maintain a high level of confidentiality.
• Perform safely; maintain good housekeeping standards, and ensure all aisles and pathways to fire exits are clear and free of clutter.
• Adhere to local, state, and federal laws and regulations.

Minimum Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to perform basic math functions.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Retail sales experience is preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.
• Reliable transportation.
