Harakeke Hub Hosts & Community 'Sign-posters'
About the role
Harakeke Hubs are welcoming places designed to foster meaningful connections. Participants may seek social interaction, friendly conversation, or support in accessing the Marlborough CAB directory to find local services, groups, and organisations. Each Hub will be hosted by at least one trained, community-minded volunteer in venues such as libraries, cafés, community rooms, or youth centres.
Alternatively, you can act as a Community Sign-poster, helping to direct people to the Hubs and distributing information about the Hubs and the Marlborough CAB Directory. Whether you're at the grocery store, at work, out for a walk, or with family and friends, you can carry informational cards to spread the word.
Full training is provided for these roles, including tablets and resources (flags, cards, bookmarks, etc.).
