Hansen House Daily Living Skills Specialist

Oversight and assistance of residents in meal planning and preparation, shopping, hygiene, laundry, and housekeeping (DLS). Activities planning and coordination. Assist the Senior Residence Counselor in the planning, delivery, and documentation of restorative services in the areas of daily living skills and recreation.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight and assistance to residents with daily living skills, including meal planning and preparation, shopping, hygiene, laundry, and housekeeping.
• Plan and coordinate activities for residents.
• Assist the Senior Residence Counselor in planning, delivering, and documenting restorative services related to daily living skills and recreation.

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree in Human Services or a related field preferred, but not required.
• Some work experience, preferably in Human Services.
• Valid NYS Driver’s License.

Pay

$41,729 - $51,563 annually.
