Goodwill Industries of Northwest North Carolina, Inc. (Goodwill) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization headquartered in Winston-Salem, NC. We employ more than 1,100 team members dedicated to our mission of providing employment and training services that help people find jobs and reach financial stability. About the Role

This role is ideal for a "go-getter," goal-oriented person with an eye for details. To be successful, you must enjoy working independently, being organized, dependable, and meeting production goals. Responsibilities

• Sorting clothing: must have an eye for quality and consistently be alert to defects. Goodwill does not stock merchandise that does not meet its quality standards.
• Hanging and tagging clothing: requires the ability to avoid distractions and focus on working efficiently and quickly.
• Maintaining a safe and neat work environment, taking pride in the efficiency of your area.
• May include cross-training in the following areas: Cash Register; Receiving, pricing, and stocking donations. (Receivers may occasionally lift and carry up to 50 pounds, and frequently lift and carry 10 to 35 pounds.)

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Production or similar experience preferred.
• Available to work most store hours, especially evenings and weekends. Stores are open Monday through Saturday 10am to 8pm, opening at 11AM on Sunday.
