Handyworker

Responsibilities

• Complete tasks such as minor repairs and general maintenance
• Perform property condition inspections
• Install and remove lockboxes
• Replace HVAC filters
• Install or replace smoke detectors, door hardware, blinds, shelving, and other household fixtures
• Repair minor issues involving doors, locks, faucets, toilets, and similar residential items
• Take high-quality property photos when required
• Complete digital inspection reports
• Identify repairs or improvements that may help prepare the property for leasing
• Report damage, safety concerns, or maintenance items requiring additional attention
• Manage appointments, photos, notes, and updates through our mobile work app
• Travel between scheduled properties using your own vehicle

Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of paid handyman, renovation, construction, or property maintenance experience
• The ability to complete common residential maintenance tasks independently
• Good judgment when assessing the condition of a property
• A strong attention to detail
• A professional and reliable work ethic

Qualifications

• Your own reliable vehicle
• Hand tools and basic maintenance equipment
• A smartphone capable of using GPS, mobile apps, taking photos, and submitting job updates
• Basic English communication skills

Pay

Competitive appointment-based and hourly compensation based on experience, skills, and assigned work.

Schedule

This is a field-based role where every appointment is different. Travelling directly between scheduled properties using your own vehicle.
