Honey Homes is hiring experienced handymen in Lafayette to serve a dedicated territory of 40-50 homes with steady, predictable work.

Schedule & Time Off

• Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM (no evenings, weekends, required overtime, or on-call).

Responsibilities

• Perform residential home repair and maintenance tasks across multiple trades, including:
  • Carpentry (doors, trim, framing, repairs).
  • Painting and drywall patching.
  • Plumbing (toilets, faucets, minor pipe repairs).
  • Electrical (fixtures, outlets, small wiring tasks).
  • Smart home device installation.
• Manage and maintain 40-50 residential homes within a small territory.
• Provide outstanding customer service and build strong relationships with homeowners.
• Use the company app to track jobs, tasks, and schedules.

Requirements

• 5+ years of handyman or multi-trade experience.
• Skilled across multiple trade areas, with experience learning from carpenters, drywallers, painters, plumbers, and electricians.
• Prior work as a maintenance technician, carpenter, plumber, or electrician strongly preferred.
• Experience in residential home repair and upkeep across multiple trades.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to independently assess and fix most home issues.
• Attention to detail (clean caulk lines, professional patching, and painting).
• Customer-friendly attitude: great listener, strong communicator, and proactive.
• Reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and personal tools.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly (with or without reasonable accommodation).
• Comfortable working on ladders or scaffolding at heights up to 12 feet.
