Honey Homes is hiring experienced handymen in Chicago to serve a dedicated territory of 40-50 homes. Steady, well-paid work with predictable hours and no weekends.

Schedule & Time Off

• Monday–Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm (no evenings, weekends, required overtime, or on-call)

Responsibilities

• Perform residential home repair and maintenance tasks across multiple trades, including:
  • Carpentry (doors, trim, framing, repairs)
  • Painting and drywall patching
  • Plumbing (toilets, faucets, minor pipe repairs)
  • Electrical (fixtures, outlets, small wiring tasks)
  • Smart home device installation
• Manage a territory of 40-50 residential homes, providing maintenance and repairs
• Build strong relationships with homeowners and deliver outstanding customer service
• Use a company app to track jobs, tasks, and schedules

Requirements

• 5+ years of handyman or multi-trade experience
• Skilled across multiple trade areas (carpentry, drywall, painting, plumbing, electrical)
• Prior experience as a maintenance technician, carpenter, plumber, or electrician strongly preferred
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for independent issue assessment and repair
• Attention to detail (clean caulk lines, professional patching, and painting)
• Customer-friendly attitude with strong communication and proactive service
• Reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and personal tools
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly (with or without reasonable accommodation)
• Comfortable working on ladders or scaffolding at heights up to 12 feet
