Hands-On Construction Foreman

About the Role

Mast Roofing & Construction in Oley, PA is actively searching for a full-time Hands-On Construction Foreman who can confidently lead, organize, troubleshoot, and work hands-on alongside a crew in the Berks County, PA area. This position plays a vital role in ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, accurately, and according to company quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the face of the company while consistently out in the field during each project
• Lead, direct, and coach the crew while working hands-on alongside them when needed to keep projects moving forward
• Prevent delays, maintain quality standards, control job costs, and ensure projects stay on schedule
• Ensure technical accuracy, clear communication, process consistency, and jobsite organization
• Provide direction, coaching, productivity improvement, and safety leadership while maintaining OSHA compliance
• Read and interpret plans, blueprints, scopes of work, and material specifications
• Measure doors and windows with great accuracy
• Explain technical information in layman's terms

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in residential construction
• 1 year crew leadership experience preferred
• Ability to read plans, blueprints, scopes of work, and material specifications
• Ability to measure doors and windows with great accuracy
• Ability to work outdoors in changing weather conditions
• Physically capable of lifting, climbing, stretching, and performing hands-on construction tasks
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Working knowledge of OSHA and jobsite safety standards preferred

Pay & Schedule

• Annual salary of $80,000-$100,000/year, based upon experience
• Flexible schedule of between 45-55 hours/week
• Service areas include Oley, PA, Allentown, PA 18102, and Reading, PA 19601
