Hand Therapist - OT/PT - FT - Days - Rehab Services -PPI PT @ LG
Job Description
Collaborates with other members of the healthcare team to promote optimum patient rehabilitation. Provides Occupational Therapy services as defined by the California Occupational Therapy Practice Act applying principles and theories of occupational sciences in assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating and modifying patient care as an active continuous process.
Additionally, the Occupational Therapist II will provide Occupational Therapy services within an interdisciplinary environment consistent with the position’s qualifications, professional practices, and ethical standards.
Qualifications
- Completion Accredited Occupational Therapy Program; Master’s degree or Doctorate degree preferred
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience; if working in NICU, at least one year experience in NICU care
- Maintains current valid California Occupational Therapy license
- Maintains current BLS (Basic Lifesaving Certification - American Heart Association) for Healthcare Provider
- CCS-Paneled or in process if working in NICU
Skills
Demonstrates accountability for, and contribution to, the Department’s daily operations, including fulfilling charge duties as requested; exhibits fiscal responsibility through accurate time-keeping of assigned work shifts (which includes compliance with management-designated start/end times); participates in program development and quality improvement activities as requested by management; adheres to the Department’s established productivity standards.

Salary Range: $62.76 - $83.41 USD Hour

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
Medium Work - Requires standing the majority of the shift with the ability to lift up to 35 lbs. frequently. Work involves sitting, kneeling, climbing and squatting.
