About the Role

Our Appleton, WI facility manufactures state-of-the-art circuit boards for Aerospace, Defense, Industrial, and Medical Industries.
Responsibilities
- Perform hand soldering for all classes of assemblies, including surface mount, thru-hole, wires/modification, and rework using a microscope.
- Execute complex assembly operations as assigned by the production supervisor.
- Assemble electrical or electromechanical devices or components using various hardware/tools.
- Operate equipment to meet customer requirements.
- Identify defects according to applicable workmanship standards and classes.
- Perform verification tests following assembly instructions.
- Rework and repair assemblies as needed.
- Handle and manage hazardous waste generated in the work area.
- Perform other assignments as required.
Requirements
- Ability to learn basic component identification skills.
- Perform simple tasks using work instructions.
- Execute basic and routine repetitive mechanical assembly operations using fixtures and tools.
- Read and follow detailed assembly instructions.
- Adhere to General Requirements of Team Members.
- Quality-oriented with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent hand/eye coordination.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of hand soldering.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and dexterity.
- Ability to use tools and testing devices.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- J-STD-001, IPC-A-610, or other electronic certifications.
