About the role

The University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Health is seeking a BE/BC plastic surgeon who is CAQ-eligible to build a long-term career in Maryland. The position involves joining an established community hospital-employed practice in a growing community with an excellent relationship to orthopedic surgery.

Responsibilities

  • Function within a larger musculoskeletal center focusing on hand/wrist
  • Enjoy access to brand new state-of-the-art office and ambulatory surgery facilities
  • Work in a thriving family-friendly community in a central mid-Atlantic location
  • Practice is primarily elective/subacute hand surgery with general plastic/cosmetic surgery opportunity depending on the candidate's interest
  • Academic affiliations are available for those interested
  • There will be some hand-only call commitment at the community hospital (not a trauma center)
  • Opportunities for personal growth and development depending on individual interests
