About the role

Role includes providing consultation to school teams, teachers and paraprofessionals on the design and implementation of evidence-based practices related to instructional programming and behavioral interventions for students with intensive supports. Additionally, it includes conducting professional development sessions on effective instructional practices, IDEA compliance, and proactive behavioral strategies for students with intensive supports.

Qualifications

Hawaii License in Special Education required. Must be able to travel to all HLLM Schools.

  • Compensation: 12-month teachers shall be compensated for the applicable Bargaining Unit 05 12-month salary schedule for working a 12-month work year.

  • Workers' Compensation: If an employee is injured while on the job, benefits covering medical expenses and partial wage support may be available through workers' compensation.

Pay

Payday is on the 5th and 20th (or previous business day) of every month.
