About the Role

As a Merchandiser, you'll have the opportunity to work independently, showcasing your organization and time management skills while being the face of Hallmark. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels, and support fellow team members with seasonal resets and installations when needed. Occasionally, you may work with products from other companies in the stores you service.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-Day Engagement: Restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark product inventory using a company-provided mobile device. Utilize technology for communication, reporting, and merchandising activities. Interact professionally with store employees, management, and customers.
• Holiday Support: Work additional days and extended hours around major holidays (Valentine's Day, Easter, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas), including weekends and actual holidays.
• Department Resets: Participate in team installations, building fixtures, relocating departments, and resetting card sections. Assignments may include evenings or weekends with two weeks' notice.
• One Team Vision: Support other merchandisers in their territories as part of Hallmark's field organization.

Physical Requirements

• Consistently push, pull, lift, and carry up to 30 pounds, occasionally up to 50 pounds.
• Kneel, squat, walk, stand, and climb stairs or step ladders throughout the workday.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• Able to read, write, and understand English.
• Operate a digital hand-held device for document access and interpretation.
• Access to Wi-Fi, the internet, and consistent transportation to assigned stores.

Pay

Starting pay rate: $15.95 - $17.95 per hour, depending on skills and experience. Eligible employees receive annual pay increases.

Schedule

Part-time position with a variable schedule during the work week. Average weekly hours: 8–12. Required availability the week before and after major holidays, including weekends, and for season changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support.
