About the role

As a Merchandiser, you'll work independently to showcase organization and time management skills, establish retailer relationships, and be the face of Hallmark. You'll collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels, and support fellow team members with seasonal resets and installations as needed. You may also work with other companies' products in the stores you service.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day engagement: Use a Hallmark‑provided mobile device to restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark product inventory inside and outside the Hallmark department; use technology for communication with supervisors, reporting time, providing feedback, and completing required merchandising surveys.
• Professional interaction: Courteously engage with store employees, management, and customers.
• Holiday support: Work additional days and extended hours leading up to and following holidays such as Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas; may be required to work on the actual holiday (including weekends) for Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, and Father’s Day.
• Department resets: Participate in team installations, building and installing Hallmark fixtures, relocating card departments and products, and resetting card sections; typically notified two weeks in advance, which may include evenings or weekends.
• One Team Vision: Support other merchandisers in your territory as needed as part of Hallmark’s field organization.
• Display ownership: You are responsible for the entire Hallmark product display at your assigned stores.
