About the role

The Bagger/Debagger is responsible for efficiently and accurately performing duties that support bagging and debagging bottles. This role involves quality inspections, maintaining production flow, and ensuring all processes adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain all applicable equipment, including support equipment, and make minor adjustments or repairs using wrenches.
• Remove defective bottles from the production line and place them in a recycling bin.
• Maintain communication with other departments, management, and employees to address any issues that may restrict production efficiency.
• Complete all paperwork clearly, legibly, and accurately with required information.
• Analyze process and equipment performance data to improve quality, throughput, and troubleshooting.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes using a continuous improvement mindset.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe work area.
• Adhere to all required work safe practices, including wearing PPE in designated areas, safe chemical handling, and fall restraints.
• Ensure food safety, pre-requisite programs, and food quality in the designated area; report any related issues to management immediately.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
• Able to perform basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
• Experience within the food and beverage industry is preferred.
• Must be able to stand, walk, push, or pull for a majority of the day.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Must be able to work in a wet environment.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must pass all pre-employment screens, including drug, background, and criminal checks.

Pay

$47,944 - $65,234 per year
