Job Summary

DFA/Kemps has immediate openings for machine operators to perform tasks such as maintaining, breaking down, and setting up equipment, troubleshooting basic to moderate operating issues, processing materials according to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and communicating with all departments.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and break down equipment and machinery
• Set up equipment and machinery
• Process finished or raw materials
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
• Communicate effectively with all departments
• Meet daily deadlines

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measurement, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimal
• Able to pass pre-employment screenings including drug, background, and criminal checks
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Able to work in a wet environment
• May have some exposure to dust, fumes, and cleaning chemicals
• Able to work flexible hours including overtime, occasional weekends, and holidays
