FM Hair Studio is a newly expanded, independently owned salon with two additional styling stations. Owner Amy focuses on helping stylists grow in confidence, strengthen their skills, and build careers they’re proud of. The salon values clear communication, respect, and everyone contributing to a welcoming salon experience. The updated space features new styling chairs, illuminated mirrors, and a comfortable setting for you and your guests.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized consultations, haircuts, color, and styling services within your skill set.
• Help guests maintain their results with home‑care recommendations.
• Build client relationships through thoughtful service and consistent follow‑through.
• Keep your station clean and contribute to shared salon responsibilities.
• Participate in team communication, feedback, and ongoing learning.

Requirements

• Active Illinois cosmetology license.
• Dependable, professional, and open to feedback.
• Enjoys connecting with guests and working alongside others.
• Motivated to keep learning and grow clientele.

Schedule

Full‑time or part‑time availability. Expected hours: 35.0 per week.

Pay

Commission‑based compensation with an hourly range of $20.00 – $31.37.
