Hairstylist/Cosmetologist

About the role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Hairstylist to join La Rosa Beauty Collective. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in cosmetology, with the ability to deliver exceptional client service and create beautiful, customized hairstyles. This role requires a passion for hair styling, coloring, and customer care.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional hair styling services including color, cuts, hair styling and hair extensions. Hair extensions training will be provided at no cost.
• Perform hair coloring services utilizing color theory principles to achieve desired results.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and offer expert recommendations.
• Maintain high standards of customer service to ensure client satisfaction and loyalty.
• Stay current with the latest trends in hair styling, coloring, and techniques.
• Assist clients with extension applications or express willingness to learn extension techniques for free at the salon.
• Ensure all tools and workstations are sanitized and maintained according to safety standards.

Requirements

• Prior salon experience is preferred but not mandatory; a strong passion for hairstyling and cosmetology is essential.
• Knowledge of hair coloring techniques and color theory.
• Experience or willingness to learn about hair extensions.
• Proficiency in client communication and customer service skills.
• Familiarity with updos, event hair styling, and various hair styling techniques is preferred.
