Hairstylist Barber Manager

About the role

Diesel Barbershop is hiring a working Manager or Co-Manager at our new location at Waterdam Centre in McMurray, PA. A licensed stylist who leads from the chair. You'll spend the majority of your shift cutting while supporting team development, shop operations, and the client experience. This is a working leader role for someone who takes pride in both their craft and their team.

Responsibilities

• Perform men's haircuts, fades, beard trims, and straight razor shaves
• Build client relationships that drive rebooking and retention
• Lead by example in professionalism, punctuality, and work ethic
• Support hiring, onboarding, and training of new team members
• Coach staff on performance metrics
• Enforce Diesel standards and procedures
• Assist with cash drawer accuracy, deposits, and end-of-day procedures
• Handle client concerns professionally

Requirements

• Active Cosmetology or Barber license in PA
• Proven skill in men's cuts, fades, and razor work
• Prior leadership or team lead experience preferred
• Reliable, professional, and solution-oriented

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
• Passion for barbershop culture and community
