Hair Stylist Assistant

About the Role

The Hair Assistant is responsible for performing shampoo and conditioning treatments, maintaining salon cleanliness, and ensuring a comfortable experience for clients.

Responsibilities

• Shampooing and conditioning clients
• Blow-drying clients (when necessary)
• Sweeping salon floor and light cleaning to maintain salon’s appearance
• Helping prepare guests for service
• Ensuring guests are comfortable, offering beverages, etc.
• Attending and participating in continuing education and training to follow new trends and techniques
• Sanitizing and maintaining salon areas and equipment
• Handling laundry duties

Qualifications

• Cosmetology License (preferred)
• Customer Service Skills

Pay

This is an hourly position with wages starting at $15.00 and paying up to $18.75, based on experience and qualifications.
