Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform professional facial treatments, body treatments, exfoliation services, and waxing services in accordance with spa protocols.
- Evaluate guests' skin conditions and recommend appropriate treatments and home-care products.
- Educate guests regarding skincare regimens, wellness practices, and product usage.
- Maintain detailed treatment records and document guest preferences and service history.
- Prepare treatment rooms before and after each service, ensuring cleanliness and proper set-up.
- Sanitize equipment, tools, and treatment areas according to state and resort health regulations.
- Promote retail products and spa services to enhance the guest experience.
- Aid with inventory management and notify management of supply needs.
- Maintain knowledge of all resort amenities, services, promotions, and events.
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest questions, concerns, and requests.
- Participate in training programs and continuing education opportunities.
- Adhere to all resort policies, procedures, departmental standards, and safety regulations.
- Maintain guest confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and/or Experience Requirements
- Meets IMGR&C Values that are reflected in the letters A-P-A-C-H-E, Accountability, Productivity, Acceptance, Communication, Hospitality, and Enthusiasm.
- Acquire current N.M State Licenses.
- 2+ years' experience in spa services.
- Excellent communication and customer services skills.
- Friendly and Professional demeanor.
- Proficiency with skin care products application services and waxing highly desirable.
- Able and willing to work flexible schedule.
- High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED).
Physical Demands
- While performing the duties of this position, the team member is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands, to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, talk or hear.
- Must be able to use hand held communications devices.
- The team member must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- The team member must be able to stand for several hours.
