About the role
We are seeking a candidate for a Traffic Planning & Design position. This role involves planning and designing traffic systems to improve safety and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement traffic flow optimization strategies
- Conduct traffic studies and analyze data to inform design decisions
- Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to ensure project success
- Prepare and present reports on traffic planning and design projects
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in traffic planning and design
- Proficiency in traffic simulation software and GIS tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Knowledge of traffic engineering principles and practices
- Experience with traffic signal design and intersection analysis
- Understanding of traffic demand forecasting methods
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with traffic modeling software (e.g., Synchro, CORSIM)
- Strong understanding of traffic engineering standards and guidelines
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
