About the role

We are seeking a candidate for the position of Traffic Planning & Design. This role involves planning and designing traffic systems to improve safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement traffic management plans
• Conduct traffic studies and analyze data to inform design decisions
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure project success
• Prepare and present reports and presentations to clients and internal teams

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in traffic planning and design
• Proficiency in traffic simulation software
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• Professional Engineer license (PE)
• Knowledge of traffic engineering standards and best practices
• Experience working on large-scale transportation projects

Skills

• Advanced proficiency in GIS and traffic modeling software
• Experience with traffic signal design and intersection analysis
• Strong understanding of traffic flow and capacity analysis
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Pay

The starting salary for this position is $80,000 per year. Salary is commensurate with experience.

Schedule

This is a full-time position with a standard Monday through Friday workweek. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required for project deadlines.
