Gynecology Physician

About the role

Charles Evans Center (CEC Healthcare) is seeking a Board-Certified Gynecologist to join their mission-driven, outpatient Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in Bethpage, NY.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive gynecologic care in an outpatient setting, including preventive care, in-office procedures, diagnosis and management of gynecologic conditions, and reproductive and sexual health education.
• Perform in-office gynecologic procedures such as Pap smears, colposcopy, endometrial biopsy, IUD/implant placement & removal.
• Adapt communication and care approaches to meet the needs of women with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Requirements

• MD or DO from an accredited institution
• Board Certification in Obstetrics & Gynecology
• Active, unrestricted New York State medical license
• DEA registration
• Experience performing in-office gynecologic procedures

Qualifications

• Experience in FQHC or community health settings
• Experience working with individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities
• Spanish language proficiency
