About the role

This role is 100% gynecology, with no obstetrics, providing office-based evaluation and procedural care alongside our surgical gynecologists.

Responsibilities

  • Seeing patients independently and managing well woman exams
  • Evaluation and treatment of abnormal/irregular uterine bleeding
  • Management of PCOS and other menstrual disorders
  • Colposcopy and biopsy, including endometrial and vulvar biopsy
  • Hormone replacement therapy and menopausal symptom management
  • Contraceptive counseling and management, including IUD and Nexplanon insertion/removal
  • Evaluation and treatment of STIs
  • Pessary fitting, removal, and cleaning
  • Urinary incontinence evaluation
  • Infertility counseling
  • Minor in-office procedures (e.g., polypectomy, skin tag excision, treatment of condyloma)

Requirements

  • Active NP or PA license in Oregon (or ability to obtain)
  • Certification as a Women's Health NP, FNP, or PA with demonstrated gynecology experience
  • Current DEA registration or ability to obtain
  • Current CPR/AED certification
  • Colposcopy training/certification preferred

Qualifications

  • Comfort with IUD/Nexplanon placement and biopsy procedures is expected from day one
