About the role
This role is 100% gynecology, with no obstetrics, providing office-based evaluation and procedural care alongside our surgical gynecologists.
Responsibilities
- Seeing patients independently and managing well woman exams
- Evaluation and treatment of abnormal/irregular uterine bleeding
- Management of PCOS and other menstrual disorders
- Colposcopy and biopsy, including endometrial and vulvar biopsy
- Hormone replacement therapy and menopausal symptom management
- Contraceptive counseling and management, including IUD and Nexplanon insertion/removal
- Evaluation and treatment of STIs
- Pessary fitting, removal, and cleaning
- Urinary incontinence evaluation
- Infertility counseling
- Minor in-office procedures (e.g., polypectomy, skin tag excision, treatment of condyloma)
Requirements
- Active NP or PA license in Oregon (or ability to obtain)
- Certification as a Women's Health NP, FNP, or PA with demonstrated gynecology experience
- Current DEA registration or ability to obtain
- Current CPR/AED certification
- Colposcopy training/certification preferred
Qualifications
- Comfort with IUD/Nexplanon placement and biopsy procedures is expected from day one
