About the role

Citrus Cardiology Consultants is hiring two Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants to join their cardiovascular team in Inverness, FL. They have two distinct positions available — one combining outpatient clinic and inpatient hospital cardiology, and one hospital-only role with a 7-on/7-off daytime schedule.

Responsibilities

• Combination of outpatient clinic visits and inpatient hospital rounding
• Evaluate and manage patients with acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions
• Conduct follow-up visits, consults, new patient evaluations, and patient education
• Order and interpret EKGs, labs, imaging, and stress tests
• Collaborate with cardiologists on treatment planning and ongoing care
• Inpatient-only cardiology role — no outpatient clinic responsibilities
• Hospital rounding and cardiovascular patient management
• Cardiovascular consults and inpatient care coordination

Qualifications

• Board-certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Active Florida license or actively in the process of obtaining
• Cardiology or acute care experience preferred — not required
• New NP and PA graduates with genuine interest in cardiovascular medicine welcome
• Strong communicator, team player, patient-focused
