Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA)

About the role
Provider will provide care at the PACE Burlington AND PACE Pittsboro facilities. Providers at Piedmont Health Senior Care deliver the full range of ambulatory primary care services for the geriatric patient population. Responsibilities include seeing scheduled patients, providing coverage during center operating hours, telephone consultation, performing administrative tasks, and participating in quality improvement activities. Medical providers manage all patients and conditions within the scope of their training and approved privileges, with severe or complex cases warranting consultation with a supervising physician.
Responsibilities
- Deliver ambulatory primary care services for geriatric patients
- See scheduled patients and provide coverage during center operating hours (Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm)
- Provide telephone consultation as needed
- Perform administrative tasks associated with medical care
- Participate in quality improvement activities
- Manage all patient conditions within scope of training and approved privileges
- Consult with supervising physician for severe illness or complex complaints
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Minimum of 2-3 years clinical Advanced Practice Provider experience with geriatric/high-risk populations
- Completion of an approved Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program and appropriate certification
- Active North Carolina license to practice as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner (must be kept current)
- Controlled Substance Registration Certificate from the DEA (must be kept current)
- Basic Life Support and First Aid certification
- Medically cleared for communicable diseases with up-to-date immunizations prior to employment

Pay
Salary Range: $104,019.00 - $139,792.00 (prorated by FTE and commensurate with years of experience)
Schedule
Facility Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm
Full-Time OR Part-Time scheduling options are available.
