Gynecologic Oncologist | Winston-Salem, NC

About the Role

Novant Health Cancer Institute - Forsyth is seeking a Gynecologic Oncologist to join an established, growing practice of 4 physicians and 4 APPs located in Winston-Salem, NC.

• Full-time opportunity (2.5 days in clinic + 2 days in OR)
• Office hours are 8 am-5 pm, Monday-Friday
• Average patient panel of 18-20 per day, per provider
• Care for patients in satellite clinic
• Call requirement is approximately 1 weekday per week, 1 weekend per month
• Full panel of APP support for call, rounding, and patient management
• Collaborative tumor council meetings with Novant Gyn-Onc affiliates in Charlotte and Coastal regions
• Monthly multi-disciplinary tumor board
• Clinical trial availability
• Opportunities for teaching and mentoring residents and medical students at Atrium Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center

Responsibilities & Duties

• Managing chemotherapy and treatments for gynecologic malignancies
• Surgical management of patients with genetic mutations, complex gynecology, cancer staging, and debulking

Requirements

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Gynecologic Oncology
