Gynecologic Oncologist - West Cancer Center & Research Institute

About the role

Chief responsibilities include gynecologic oncologic surgical care of patients along with outpatient and inpatient consultation. This position is also responsible for training medical students, Residents, and Fellows. This position includes the opportunity for protected research time, and successful applicants are expected to both participate in and serve as site Primary Investigators on clinical in the Department of gynecologic oncology.

Responsibilities

• Provide care in a clinic setting, offering state-of-the-art surgical options to patients (access to over 12 robotic Xi) to treat both malignant and benign diagnoses.
• Train medical students, Residents, and Fellows.
• Participate in and serve as site Primary Investigator on clinical trials in the Department of gynecologic oncology.
• Engage in protected research time.

Board-Certified/Board Eligible

Qualifications

Excellent clinical and surgical training.

Skills

Robotic surgery expertise, multidisciplinary approach, and clinical trial participation.
