About the role
This position teaches youth tumbling and gymnastics, including floor, beam, vault, high bar, pommel horse, parallel bars, and bars. Responsibilities include adhering to CARA gymnastics rules and regulations, following a class-level curriculum, assessing student progress, and creating a safe and enjoyable learning environment.

Requirements
- Gymnastics Instructor I: Must be a minimum of 16 years old, have two seasons of previous competitive gymnastics experience, and obtain relevant certifications.
- Gymnastics Instructor II: Must have one year of gymnastics instruction experience and the ability to teach intermediate level gymnastics.
- Gymnastics Instructor III: Must have two years of gymnastics instruction experience, be at least 17 years old, obtain CARA safety awareness training, and attend related clinics and trainings.
- Gymnastics Instructor IV: Must have two years of competitive-level gymnastics coaching experience, be at least 18 years old, and obtain CHSSA certification.
Qualifications
- Gymnastics Instructor I: Must be highly motivated, take direction well, and demonstrate gymnastics skills.
- Gymnastics Instructor II: Must have mastery of tot, beginning, advanced beginning, and intermediate gymnastics class levels, and the ability to teach intermediate level gymnastics and take on leadership roles.
- Gymnastics Instructor III: Must have mastery of tot, beginning, advanced beginning, intermediate, and entry CARA team levels, and knowledge of CARA gymnastics rules and routines.
- Gymnastics Instructor IV: Must have mastery of tot, beginning, advanced beginning, intermediate, entry CARA team levels, and knowledge of high school gymnastics rules and choreography.
Skills
- Gymnastics Instructor I: Must have the ability to read, interpret, and apply operating policies and procedures.
- Gymnastics Instructor II: Must have the ability to teach intermediate level gymnastics and take on leadership roles.
- Gymnastics Instructor III: Must have the ability to teach entry level CARA team practices and obtain CARA safety awareness training.
- Gymnastics Instructor IV: Must have the ability to lead a gymnastics team practice and lead the team at competitions.
