Gymnastics Instructor

About the role

At the YMCA, we believe in nurturing confidence, strength, and a sense of belonging in every child. As a Gymnastics Instructor, you help young athletes grow not only in their physical abilities but also in their courage, discipline, and self-expression. You will lead classes for students of all levels, teaching foundational body movement, coordination, and muscle development while creating a safe, supportive, and fun environment. This role also includes a dance component, allowing you to incorporate rhythm, musicality, and creative movement into your instruction--helping students develop grace, expression, and confidence in new ways. Through your guidance, students build self-confidence, improve coordination and flexibility, and discover the joy of mastering new skills--all within a welcoming community that encourages them to reach their fullest potential.
