Gymnastics Instructor

Position Summary

The Pediatric Movement Center (PMC) is seeking a PRN instructor to join our KidMotion gymnastics team. The position involves teaching classes that focus on developing social skills, creativity, strength, endurance, coordination, and confidence through fun activities.

Position Qualifications

• Previous experience with personal training, athletic training, special needs or physical therapy is preferred, though not required.
• 3-4 years experience.
• PREFERRED AGE OF APPLICANT IS 18 YEARS OR OLDER.
• 1+ years gymnastics instruction experience or practical knowledge.
• Membership with USA Gymnastics is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, written, and organizational skills.

Required Skills

• Must be friendly, compassionate, energetic, organized, self-driven, independent learner and team oriented.

Physical Demands

• Moderate physical demands may include, but not be limited to:
• assistance with setup and breakdown of equipment,
• ability to transition on/off of the floor to interact with children,
• demonstrate basic exercises,
• spot children while performing activities in the gym.
